How long does a Cyber Security Health Check take?
The Health Check is a structured session usually lasting 2-3 hours, followed by several hours of analysis. You will receive your final Cyber Security Review Report within 3-5 working days of the assessment.
Can you help us implement the improvements identified in a review?
Yes. While the Health Check identifies the gaps, NR Technology & Security can provide direct one-to-one support to implement the necessary security controls, configuration changes and process improvements.
Do you provide IT support for day-to-day hardware issues?
The focus is specifically on cyber security, Microsoft 365, and information management. While basic troubleshooting is often part of ongoing support, the service is not a high-volume 'helpdesk' for hardware repairs or peripheral issues.
Is NR Technology & Security a Certification Body?
No. NR Technology & Security provides expert preparation and remediation support to help you meet the standard. The final assessment must be conducted by an accredited Cyber Essentials Certification Body; guidance on selecting a provider is included.

What are the certification-body assessment fees?
The cost to apply for Cyber Essentials is set by IASME (the NCSC's delivery partner) and depends on the size of your organisation. These fees are separate from consultancy support unless included in a fixed-price project quotation.
We use Google Workspace, can you still help us?
The primary expertise and project services are focused on Microsoft 365 environments. However, the Cyber Security Health Check and Cyber Essentials Preparation services are applicable to any organisation, regardless of their email and file storage platform.
